Questions

Careers: common questions

Do I need shrink wrap experience?

Not for the trainee role. Full training is given on the job. For the installer role, experience in shrink wrap, scaffolding, rigging or a boatyard helps.

Is the work year-round?

Busiest from autumn to spring, when boats are laid up and refits happen, with transport, containment and summer lay-up work through the rest of the year.

What about pay and hours?

We discuss pay and hours openly at interview, based on experience.

How do I apply?
